ABOUT THE BEER

Barrel Aged Monongalator was first released in March of 2024, aged in barrels for 16 months. These bottles are re-releasing and this already delightful beer tastes even richer, given additional time to rest in the bottle.

Given time in barrels, the already malty-sweet Classic Monongalator was further enhanced with depth and complexity from with the character of bourbon-soaked barrels.

Sipping Barrel Aged Monongalator, you'll pick up on honey, raisin, and toffee flavors. Top that off with whiskey characters from the time in Heaven Hill barrels, and you've got yourself a pure treat.

ABOUT DOPPELBOCKS 

Traditionally, doppelbocks are historical beers, known as the beverages of Bavarian monks. Strong beers sustained many through Lenten fasts.

However, there is an alternate tale, equally entertaining, that tells of doppelbock as the chosen beer for a feast, not a fast. It’s in that spirit that we heartily encourage pairing a 4pk or two of this beer with an Easter meal.

Monongalator pays homage to the great beer-makers who have gone before us, to Salvator, Troegonator, Celebrator, and Consecrator. Whichever story you find more interesting, this is the beer for the occasion.
